In-person lessons
Gareth is a highly experienced teacher, maintaining a busy schedule of in-person and online drum-kit lessons, plus Masterclasses in drumming and in wider music technology and industry education.
With experience teaching in schools through the County Council Music Service, and an array of private positions in schools and specialist music colleges, Gareth is equipped to teach all ages and abilities, from beginner steps on the instrument through to advanced rhythm concepts, performance skills and techniques.

Gareth’s teaching studio is also equipped for recording audio/visual drumming content for social media and showreel purposes as well as being used for assessment during the lesson programs.
Location
In-person lessons are normally held in Gareth’s studio near Luton, on the Hertfordshire-Bedfordshire boundary. Within easy reach of Luton, Harpenden, St Albans, Kimpton, Wheathamstead, Redbourne, Markyate, Caddington, Dunstable.
Travel connectivity is good – very close to the M1 if driving, and easy connections to Luton / Luton Airport Parkway / Harpenden via Bedford to Brighton Thameslink trains.
Gareth is DBS checked and Safeguarding trained, ensuring peace of mind at every stage.
